HUMAYUN

He ruled from AD 1530 to AD 1540, and then was defeated by Sher Shah twice, in 1539 at Gujarat, and 1540 in the Battle of Kanauj. He regained his empire in 1555, and ruled for barely 6 months, before he fell from the stairs and passed away. The next emperoer, Akbar then took power.
