People’s favourite leader, the Missile Man of India, Dr Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam also known as APJ Abdul Kalam was a millennial Aerospace scientist who brought in astounding technological reform in the country. From introducing the launch vehicle facility and ballistic missile to supporting the second round of nuclear tests at Pokhran, he did everything necessary for the nation’s civilian space programme and military missile development. Dr. Kalam spent close to 4 decades in ISRO and DRDO as a scientist and administrator.
