laddakh is a cold area which is in the mountain area whereas kerala is a hot area and lies I n the the plains and the similarity is that both the places are well known for production of spices

Similarity-Ladakh is a small town in J & Kwhere as kerla is a state. Ladakh is a hill station or you can say a mountain desert, is very cold place and is sarounded with mountains, where as kerala is famous for its greenry.Ladakh is in the north where as kerala is in thb south.

Difference-Kerala and Ladakh are two mountainous regions of India that show some differences between them. Kerala is an Indian state situated on the Malabar Coast of south-west India. On the other hand, Ladakh is a mountainous region of Jammu and Kashmir.

The state of Kerala has a total area of 15, 005 square miles. On the other hand, Ladakh has a total area of about 33,554 square miles. Ladakh has a population of 270, 126, whereas Kerala has a population of 33, 387, 677.

Kerala is a very popular state laden with many points of interest. It is a state known for natural beauty, scenery and backwaters. It is home to Ayurvedic treatment centers. On the other hand, Ladakh is known for its mountain beauty and culture.

It is interesting to note that Ladakh is known as ‘Little Tibet’. This is due to the fact that the place is influenced a lot by Tibet. The largest town in Ladakh is Leh. It is important to know that this place is an abode of Buddhism in India. Thus, a majority of Ladakhis are Tibetan Buddhists.

On the other hand, the state of Kerala has witnessed the migration of its people to different parts of the world especially to Gulf countries. Onam is an important festival celebrated in Kerala. This state is home to the dance of Kathakali. The Kovalam beach in Trivandrum is known for its wonderful and scenic beauty.

On the other hand, Ladakh also boasts many places of tourist interest including Hemis Monastery built in the 1870s and Thikse Monastery. In fact, Ladakh is the highest plateau of the Indian state of Kashmir. The Indian Army, tourism and agriculture trigger the economy of Ladakh. The market in Leh is known to attract many people from different parts of India and abroad.
