1.Natural no. All counting no. Example 1,2,3,4 etc

2.whole no. Natural no including zero

3.integers.natural no, zero and negative of natural no

4.fraction.any no expressed in the form of a/b where a and b are whole no and b is not equal to zero

5.rational no. Any no expressed in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to zero

6.irrational no. Any no that cannot be expressed in the form of p/q

Now rational no are of two types

1.terminating.any no expressed in the form of p/q where q has only prime factor 2 and 5

2.repeating.any no expressed in the form of p/q where q has prime factor other than 2 and 5
