India direly needed a Make in India like campaign to give impetus to its sluggishly growing economy. Indian economy is one of the largest economies of the world, so there is immense potential in its growth; since it is a growing economy, it has not reached its climax yet. If more employment is to be generated for Indian youth, Make in India is the most ideal way to do that.
There is immense demand of every article conceivable. There are many commodities that India does not have the basic infrastructure to manufacture! For example defense industry, hardware manufacturing of IT sector, such as computer chips, circuits, etc. By creating a basic infrastructure for manufacturing in defense and IT hardware sectors, Indian economy will run like a bullet train on the track of growth and development.
China, our neighbouring country, is an excellent example of this. Just a few decades ago, the communist country was about to collapse economically, when strict economic reformative measures were taken. China invited all the Multi National Corporations to set up companies. It provided them easy and convenient work conditions, as a result the economy improved. Throughout the world, Chinese goods have become quite popular. This has improved Chinese economy a lot. Similarly India too can achieve the same success.
Modi led government is taking huge intiatives in this regard. Recently, Indian fighter jet manufacturer, HAL was given the order for making 83 fighter jets in India. This will lead to huge employment generation.
