Constants : A symbol which has a fixed value.

Literal or Variable : A symbol which takes many values and don't have a fixed value is called variable.

Term : Variables alone or constants alone or combination of both variables & constants with arithmetic operators such as multiplication, division.

Like terms : The terms which have same variable .

There might be different coefficients for like terms, but their variables are same.

So Here, The given terms are 2x², 3x², 5xy, 6x²y², 9x²y², 7xy .

Terms with x² : 2x² , 3x²

Terms with xy : 7xy , 5xy .

Terms with x²y² : 6x²y² , 9x²y²

Now, Groups of like terms are ( 2x² , 3x² ) , ( 7xy , 5xy ) , ( 6x²y² , 9x²y² )

Hope helped !
