For example, according to Tajfel, Europeans stereotyped African, Indian, and Chinese people as being incapable of achieving financial advances without European help.

What is a stereotype?

Definition 1- When we fix people into one image we create a stareotype.

Definition 2- Stereotypes prevent us from doing certain things that we might be good at.

Definition 3- Stereotypes stop us from looking at each person as an unique individual with his or her own special qualities and skills that are different from others. They fit large number of people into only one pattern or type. Steretypes affect all of us from doing certain things, that we might be good at.
