Answer:

We know that photosynthesis is performed with the help of CO² , H2O and chlorophyll and sunlight.

So gases like CO² are taken in through the stomatal pores Which opens and close with time and also helps in transpiration ( In the release of extra water )

Answer:

  • Stomata are the pores that are present in plants that help during photosynthesis as well as transpiration so that all extra water can be released by a plant.
  • It helps in controlling the rate of evaporation from its photosynthetic organs so that amounts of water, carbon dioxide, sunlight and chlorophyll are controlled by it.
  • The stomata play a very important role in the functioning of all types of plants and trees.
