In order to make a lactometer with the help of ball point refill do the following steps.
firstly take a fully empty ball point refill.
Then also take tube that is filled with water.
in order to make the refill stand in water , insert a very small if possible otherwise piece of erasure in the refill.

Note the value of refill where it is standing above the water level in tube.
After that drain the water and again fill the tube but this time with milk  .
place refill in to it. then again note value of milk .
 compare the values and get your milk purity checked.
