making, where the base oils would be made to react with caustic soda to form soap. a lot of people misinterpret that soaps are harmful to the skin as it contains caustic soda. it is impossible to make soap without lye (caustic soda - sodium hydroxide mixed with water), which is used to saponify the oils.

The other ingredients include, water, coconut oil, olive oil, essential oils and colors. You can source all of these ingredients organically except the potassium hydroxide. Note: Keep in mind that all of the potassium hydroxide is eliminated during the soap making process through a reaction called saponification.
