Solution :

\leadsto\sf \: 56\% \: of \: x = 98

\leadsto\sf\dfrac{56}{100} \times x = 98

\leadsto\sf \dfrac{56x}{100} = 98

\leadsto\sf56x = 98 \times 100

\leadsto\sf56x = 9800

\leadsto\sf x = \dfrac{9800}{56}

\leadsto\underline\red{ \boxed{ \sf x = 175}}

Hence, The maximum marks is 175.
