$= 2(l + b) \\ = 2(2.25 + 1.75) \\ = 2 \times 4 = 8 \: m$

Lace cost = 8 ×14.50

breadth of table cloth = 1.75 m
we know that,
the length of the lace = perimeter of the table cloth
= 2.25×2 + 1.75×2 m
= 4.5 + 3.5 m
= 8 m
now,
cost of the lace if it cost rupees 14.50 per metre = length of lace × 14.50 rs
= 116 rupees
