☆A man's age is thrice his son

☆14 years later,man's age will be twice as old as his son

\large\bold{\underline{\sf{\red{To\:Find:-}}}}

☆Present age of the son

\large\bold{\underline{\sf{\blue{solution:-}}}}

•At present

=>Let the son's age be x years.

=>Thus,age of his father(the man)=3x years

14 years later:-

=>Son's age= x+14 years

=>His father's age(the man)=3x+14 years

Now,As Per Question:-

=>3x+14=2(x+14)

=>3x+14=2x+28

=>3x-2x=28-14

=>x=14

Thus,present age of the son is 14 years and hence the correct option is (2).✔✔
