There exist two types of organisms:
1) Unicellular organisms
2) Multicellular organisms
In unicellular organisms, all the cell functions are performed by a single cell. Whereas in multicellular organisms, different cells are present to perform specialised functions.
Humans are multicellular organisms and thus have specialised cells to perform various functions of the body. Every cell is unique in itself and performs its own functions. These cells combine to form tissues and then these tissues form various organs.
