Man is known by his company
is a well-known proverb.
it means that the character of a person will depend on the company he has. A bad person will like to spend their time with someone who is of the same kind and vice versa. Even if a good person has a company with bad guys then also after some time the bad things will take over the good deeds.
Good company is also important for one's image in his/her society. a person who has bad company is avoided by the people in his society because of the image created by the bad ones.
On the other hand, people like themselves and their children to interact with good persons. so if you have good company they will welcome you and will spend time with you.
