Man modifies the environment by inventing new technologies which make life more easier. But some times it is not good for our environment. For example if we build more buildings for that we have to cut more trees. Another example is the manufacturing of a large number of vehicles, which is also done by human and it not only changes the environment but also it destroys it.

Man modifies his environment because of his growing needs. He is capable of modifying it according to his need to live a comfortable life. Humans learn new ways to use and change environment and as a result invented many things. Industrial revolution enabled large scale production of goods. Transportation became faster and more comfortable. Information revolution made communication easier and faster across the world.
