Easiest trick to do it is-


25% profit is on S.P. so the fraction is = 1/4 Where


1= profit


4=SP


so CP should be 4–1 = 3


Now if we calculate the real profile, it would be calculated on CP.


I.e. 1/3*100


which is 33.33% or 33 1/3.
