14:1 will be the ratio of maximum number of bottles to lunch box are bought

Step-by-step explanation:

Man spends rs.2480 to buy lunch box rs.120 each and bottles at rs.80 each

Let say lunch box bought = L

&  Bottle Bought  = B

120L  + 80B  = 2480

Dividing both sides by 40

=> 3L  + 2B  = 62

2B is even

62 is even

so 3L is to be even

maximum number of bottles when Luch box would be minimum

Hence minimum Lunch Box = 2 ( Least Even)

=> 3 * 2 + 2B = 62

=> 2B = 56

=> B = 28

28 Bottles  &  2 Lunch Box

28 : 2

14 : 1

14:1 will be the ratio of maximum number of bottles to lunch box are bought
