Man - The Maker of his Destiny

History is replete with examples of men who started from the scratch and made it to the top. From the lives  B.T. Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Bhimrao Ambedkar and Narendra Modi, we can see the truth in the maxim 'Man is the maker of his own destiny.

Helen Keller well said that 'Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired and success achieved." Helen Keller, despite her challenges reached the pinnacle of success because she stood the test of adversity. The ones who succeed are the people who don't succumb to failures and difficulties; they persevere to face them boldly to reach success. They don't blame their destiny, rather they learn from their hardships and keep going.

Now, the question arises - if everyone is capable of going through trial and suffering without losing his spirit. The answer is 'Yes', provided he follows the virtues and bears in his mind his goal. Once he has set his goal, no obstructions can dissuade him from his path. At the same time he realizes the truth that success attained by unfair means is short lived as it's said, 'Easy come, easy go.'

In a nut shell, man can make his destiny with the foundation of ethics and values as the base and then use courage, determination, hard work, perseverance and patience as blocks supporting the walls of his mansion, i.e. his life that wins admiration and inspires others to tread on the same path.
