Management is exercised wherever group activities are going on. Management

systematises the group- efforts and gets the work done. Management is required wherever a group of persons is required to accomplish some objectives.

We come across group of persons not only in

business enterprises, but even in non-business

organisations, like a school, club,etc. Hence, management is necessary in all the

organisations. In other words, it may be said that management is all pervasive.
