Answer:

8.33%

Step-by-step explanation:

1. CP of 40 kg at 150

Cost -- 40 * 150 = Rs. 6000

2. CP of 60 kg at 100

Cost -- 60 * 100 = Rs. 6000

.....

Total CP -- Rs. 6000 + 6000 = Rs. 12000

Total kg tea leaf -- 40 + 60 kg = 100 kg

.....

SP = Rs. 100 * 130 = Rs. 13000

.....

Gain = Rs. 13000 - 12000 = Rs.1000

Gain% = 1000 / 12000 * 100

= 8.33%

CP of 40 kg tea-leaf at Rs. 150

= 40×150

= Rs. 6000

CP of 60kg tea-leaf at Rs. 100

= 60×100

= Rs. 6000

Total CP = (6000+6000) = 12,000

Total kg of tea-leaf = 40+60 kg

= 100kg

[He sold tea-leaf = Rs. 130 per kg]

that means

SP = Rs. 100×130 = Rs. 13,000

Profit = SP-CP

= Rs. 13,000 - 12,000

= Rs. 1000

Profit% = profit/CP × 100

= 1000/12,000×100

= 8.33% gain
