Mangalore is situated towards the aouthern part of India, in the western coast.

Being nearer to the equator it experiences a warmer climate.

Another reason is that places located near the sea experiences moderate climate throughout the year, i.e. neither too hot nor too cold.

That is why Mangalore is not cold even in the month of December

Answer:

:Mangalore is situated along the Western Coast of India at the South of Tropic of Cancer.

Therefore, it experiences moderate impact of land breezes and sea breezes all along the year.

This keeps the weather of Mangalore moderate i.e. neither very hot nor very cool.

Hence, it is not cold even in the month of December.
