Mangroves are coastal trees which can be seen in the tropical areas.

There are several types of mangrove trees.

The mangroves grow on a low oxygen and muddy soil and on places with lower tides.

The half of the mangrove roots are on the top of the water.

They allow the sediments and they are also attracted to fishes in the water for shelter.

The mangroves are only in tropical and subtropical areas because they can't survive in freezing temperatures

Mangrove forest trees have their root above the water and are very dense. The roots of one another are tangled.

EXPLANATION:

Mangrove forest are generally located near coastal areas where amount of oxygen is very less, these areas are also known as marshy land. Their roots are above the water to absorb oxygen for daily processes.

Their tangled roots help in lowering the tidal water force and to collect sediments for their survival. They are also known as walking trees. There are about more than 60 varieties of mangroves found across the world.
