20% of Rs. 400 = 20/100 × 400 = 8000/100 = Rs. 80

=> Rs. 400 + 80 = Rs. 480

10% of Rs. 480 = 10/100 × 480 = 4800/100 = Rs. 48

=>  Rs. 480 + 48 = Rs. 528

Ans. Arun had to pay Rs. 528 to Ravi.
