Answer:

suresh alone can complete the task B in 45 days

Step-by-step explanation:

Manish and suresh can do a task A in 48 days and 60 days respectively.

Manish 1 day Work = 1/48

Suresh 1 Day work = 1/60

Together 1 day work  =  1/48 + 1/60   =  9/240  = 3/80

they together can complete the another task B in x days

=> Work Done = 3x/80

Manish alone can complete the task B in (x+16) days

=> (x + 16)/48  = 3x/80

=> (x + 16)/3 = 3x/5

=> 5x + 80 = 9x

=> 4x = 80

=> x = 20

Let say Suresh alone completes in S days

S/60  =  3x/80

=> S  = 9x/4

=> S = 9 * 20/4

=> S = 45

suresh alone can complete the task B in 45 days
