Answer:

The correct answer is 5,29,200

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Perimeter = 238

Breadth (width) = 56 m

Length = x

In order to do find area, first you need to find the length.

We know that,

Perimeter= 2x(L+B)

238 = 2 ( x+ 56)

238 = 2x + 112

2x = 238 - 112

2x = 126

x = 63

∴ Length is 63 m

Now, to find the cost of each tile, we need to find the area.

We know that,

Area of a rectangle = L x B

Area = 63 x 56

= 3528 m²

Cost of tile which is 1m² = ₹ 150

Cost of replacing tile with 3528m² = 150 x 3528

                                                           = ₹5,29,200

∴ It will cost ₹5,29,200 for Manish to complete the job

Hope this helps!
