According to the question,

Distance covered by him in 1 hour(60 mins.) = 11 km

Distance covered by him in 1 min. = $\frac{11}{60}$

Distance covered by him in 20 mins. = $\frac{11}{60}$ x 20 = 3.66 km

Total perimeter of the field = 2 x 3.6 = 7.32 km

Perimeter = 4 x side

Side = 7.32/4 = 1.83 km

Area of the field = 1.83 x 1.83 = 3.348 sq. km. = 3.35 sq. km.
