Manish was making a mathematics model, in which she placed 4 cubes each of edge 20 cm one above another. Find the surface area of the resulting cuboid.​

Breadth of the cuboid (b) = 20 cm

Height of the cuboid (h) = 20 + 20 + 20 + 20

= 80 cm

Therefore, surface area of the cuboid formed

= 2(lb + bh + hl)

= 2(20 × 20 + 20 × 80 + 80 × 20)

= 2(400 + 1600 + 1600)

= 2 × 3600

= 7200 cm square.

Thus, surface area of the resulting cuboid = 7200 cm square.
