manisha has garden in the shape of arhombus . the perimeter of the garden is 40 m and its diagonal is 16 m .she wants to divide it into two equal parts one far her brother and another for herself.find the area of each part

we can use herons formula for finding the answer

perimeter of rhombus = 40m
=> 4· side= 40m
=> side = 10m
now ,
sides of both triangles = 10m , 16m, 10m

therefore by herons formula:
area of triangle = 2*3*8= 48 m2
