earned at the end of one year. If Manoj invested Rs.20,0000 for 6 months, where as Ramesh
invested his amount for the whole year, what was the amount invested by Ramesh ?​

Answer is Rs 5000

Let the amount invested by Ramesh be = Rs x

Manoj's investment for 6 months = 20,000 * 6

Ramesh's investment for 1 year = x * 12

Ratio of Manoj and Ramesh's investment:-

Manoj : Ramesh = ( 20000 * 6 ) : ( x * 12 )

12,000 / 12x : 6000 / 3000

x = 12000 / 24

x = 5000

The total amount invested by Ramesh initially is Rs 5000
