if 720 is on 3/5L
the
720/3 on 1/5L (unitary method)
then
(720)*(5/3) = 1200
therefore 1200 answer

The distance that can be covered with a full petrol tank is 1200 km.

Given: Manoj travels 720 km on three-fifths of his petrol tank.

To Find: The distance that can be covered with a full petrol tank.

Solution:

Let the distance that can be covered with a full petrol tank be 'x' km.

The distance covered by 3/5th of the full tank = 3x/5

It is said that he travels 720 km on three-fifths of his petrol tank. So, framing an equation with the conditions given, we can say that;

      3x / 5 = 720

 ⇒  x = ( 720 × 5 ) / 3

 ⇒  x = 1200

Hence, the distance that can be covered with a full petrol tank is 1200 km.
