manoj want to cover the floorof aroom 3m wide and 4m long by squre tiles. if each squre tile is of 0.5m, then find the number of tiles required to cover the floor of the room.

area of the floor is 4 * 3 = 12 m²

area of each square tile area = 0.5 * 0.5 = 0.25m²

therefore number of tiles = 12/0.25 = 1200 / 25 = 48 tiles 

Therefore number of tiles required is 48 tiles.
