Manu and Lata were walking passed a tall and stout tree below which was seated a old man with a long beard. He was half asleep. The old man looked tired and hungry. There was a small bag next to he. Lata was curious in nature. She diverted Manu’s attention and took a peek at the bag. She stood stunned. She could not believe her eyes. The bag was filled in diamonds and emeralds. She whispered over Manu’s ears. Lata , without second thoughts walked into the bag. Manu pulled her back. He had seen something which Lata hadn’t. The bag lied in top of a brown snake. The snake looked venomous. Manu told her about it. Both of them ran across the place. They barely escaped.
