Many people believe that making of map by the colonial powers was more powerful tool for exploitation and control of the colonies than guns. Do you agree? Why?

s i agree because when the europeans colonized the whole continent they nèed to know about the place ,people climate etc .so they sent scientific scientists to explore the world with explorers and they fought with people valleys hills ect and gathered information from them .thats y making of mays by the colonial powers was a more powerful tool for exploitation than guns
