Life without food, shelter and clothing is a horrid experience to anyone. There are people who are born impecunious and could not even afford three square meals a day and if this is their condition then how can they own a shelter? A continuing debate addressed in international conferences globally.
Added to the already existing poverty, bad climate and famines make people to rehabilitate leaving heir homes. An example of this is Bhutan famine in the 80’s where people died due to hunger and diseases. So they had to rehabilitate to refugee camps set up on the Indian borders.
Another example is hurricane Katrina which devastated US with floods and made millions of American citizens homeless. During the same period I believe, Kerala floods occurred not only driving people away from their homes, but took their lives as well. In order to survive these cataclysms, people went to refugee camps seeking shelter and food. What a shame Mother Earth!!
