YES YOU'RE CORRECT SOME PEOPLE ARE STILL STILL GO WASHROOM IN A OPEN PLACES- LIKE IN FIELDS. THEY GO IN A OPEN PLACES BECAUSE OF THEY DON'T HAVE BATHROOMS  IN THEY HOUSES.SO THEY WILL GO IN OPEN PLACES.

yeah ...many people still go toilet in open as they don't have their own washroom in their house.. bcoz they think that if they construct toilet in their house their house will become impure and it will be against their religious terms and believe that goddess won't enter in their home...
