Yes indeed!

But this subject is very interesting if learnt properly. English is not our mother tougue but its a very important language as it is the only means to communicate with people all over the globe. While studying any particular story one gets to know about the culture and background of the writer, it also gives us a vivid explaintion about the time period during which the story was written... moreover pursuing English as further studies do have several scopes which will contribute to build a good career... Personally English is my favorite subject.
