There are some institutions that are excellent and admit best students. Many students who are average and don’t receive good guidance at home wrongly assume that going to college is a waste of time.
When flipped classroom, for example watching TV or sports commentary on TV can help develop good diction, if not good grammar, attending school or institution and spending 5 to 6 hours time listening to lectures in disciplined way is not waste of time and helps to gain some insight and initial practice in the subjects that will help later when students try to gain deeper skills.
