Most of the religious practices we observe are and were portrayed in Medieval theatre in England especially anything that is related to morality and values of the society.

Explanation:

  • There are three types of medieval theatres i.e. morality, mystery and miracle. These plays are based on religious and cultural foundations.

  • Christian religion in contrast to greek values used theatre to express their sanctity. The main characters of this theatre were mansions, open spaces, courtyards, etc.

  • Mentioning of good and bad deeds or the portrayal of hell versus heaven are some major characters. This also exists in today's society as well.
