Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

No. of currency notes of Rs 10 = 2x

No. of currency notes of Rs 20 = 5x

No. of currency notes of Rs 10 = 30 - (2x+5x) = 30 - 7x

Amount made by Rs 10 notes = 10 × 2x = 20x

Amount made by Rs 20 notes = 20 × 5x = 100x

Amount made by Rs 50 notes = 50 × (30 - 7x) = 1500 - 350x

Total money = 1040

⇒ 20x + 100x + 1500 - 350x = 1040

⇒ - 230x = - 460⇒ x = 2

Denominations:

Rs 10 = 2 × 2 = 4

Rs 20 = 5 × 2 = 10

Rs 50 = (30 - 7 × 2) = 16
