The given data in the above question,

It is given that the scale of a map of 3 cm= 3000 km.

The distance on the map is 3.5cm

we have to find the actual distance between the two locations in kilometers.

Thus, calculating first 1 cm is,

=\frac{3000}{3}\\=1000km

So, the distance on the map is 3.5cm is as bellow,

=3.5\times 1000\\=3500km

Therefore the actual distance between the two locations is 3500kilometers.
