b² - 2b - 7b + 14 =0

b(b-2) - 7(b-2) = 0

(b-2) (b-7) = 0

∴ b = 2,7

⇒ breadth = 2 m

     length = 9 - breadth

                 = 9 - 2

                 = 7 m

⇒ breadth = 7 m

   length    = 9 - 7

                  = 2 m
