Mark a A blacksmith immersed a red hot axe-head, weighing about 4 kg, in a bucket half-filled with water at room temperature, to cool it down quickly. He removed it from the water when it had cooled down to room temperature. What is he likely to find about the level of water in the bucket after removing the axe-head, as compared to before it was immersed? It decreased. It increased It remained the same. (Cannot say without knowing for how long the axe-head was in the water.)
