The war never brings happiness.Same was with the aftermath of the Punic war.Thousands of people lost their life in war.There was so many diseases and grief in Rome.This was one of the largest wars in the history of Rome.
The main changes that took place in Rome after Punic wars are are under:-

1)Rome had won the war against the Cathaginians.Thus Sicily and Corcica were now in Rome.

2)The senetorial class gained the political influence and wealth.

3)Peasant community shifted to the city.

4)There was huge scarcity of food.

5)There was literally no work for anyone in Rome.
