Cambridge English Dictionary defines "edit" as "to make changes to a text, film, etc., correcting mistakes or removing some parts, especially in order to prepare it for being printed or shown."

The purpose of editing exercises is to make students proficient in proof reading by helping them to identify and correct errors in a text.

Samuel Langhorne Clemens, was known to all as Mark Twain, was a great  American writer from the town of Missouri, the U.S.

His stories and novels are very popular for their humor, specific details, and remarkable characters. Most popular works of his are :

•    The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and

•    Both are classics in American literature.

The stories of Mark seems to be old-styled now, but was undoubtedly is very funny when Mark Twain penned it.

Americans were simpler in early days.

Most of them lived in either farm's house or in small towns.

Life itself was very much simpler.

What is supposed to be considered funny is the fact that the two men do not understand that the bad smell is originated by the rotten Limburger cheese but assumed as if it is coming from the decaying corpse?
