He walks four times. The distance covered if he walks four times is 2.8 km.
1 km = 1000 m. So, 2.8 km = 2.8 x 1000 = 2800 m.
The distance he covered if he walks one time = 2800/4 = 700 m.

So, the distance between mark's home & his school is 700m

Dist. B/w home to school is 350 mtrs.
1 round from home to school=2800m/4=700m
700/2=350 is the answer
