Discount %=\frac{Discount}{Marked \: price}×100

Discount=marked \: price-selling \: price

Discount %=\frac{M.P. - S.P.}{MP}×100

 5 =\frac{250 - S.P.}{250}×100

\frac{5}{100}=(1 - \frac{S.P.}{250})

\frac{1}{20}=(1 - \frac{S.P.}{250})

\frac{S.P}{250}=(1 - \frac{1}{20})

\frac{S.P.}{250}=\frac{19}{20}

S.P. =\frac{19}{20} × 250

S.P. =\frac{19}{2} × 25

S.P. =\frac{475}{2}

Selling \: price=237.5 \: rupees
