(basement) level parking. Government has decided to spare a land of 1250
meters length and 1000 meters Breadth near Sadar Bazar to cover Sadar
Bazar and Azad Market . Nearly 10 meters deep area has been dogged and
Sand and Soil was taken out. In total six floors (B2,B1, G, G1,G2,63 )are to be
built of Height 5 meters each.For the purpose of cleaning the Vast area Nearly
30 cylindrical water tanks of radius 14 meters and height 4 meters were also
built.​

To Find : Volume of Sand

Solution:

Volume = Length * Breadth * Depth

Length = 1250  m

Breadth = 1000 m

Depth = 10 m  

Volume of Sand  =  1250 x 1000 x 10

= 12500000 m³

1250  meters length and 1000 meters Breadth

Area of floor G1 = 1250 x 1000  = 1250000 m²

Area of floor G2 = 1250 x 1000  = 1250000 m²

Area of floor G3 = 1250 x 1000  = 1250000 m²

Total area of floor G1 , G2 and G3 =  1250000 +  1250000 +  1250000

= 3750000 m²
