Maroon 5 just returned from a 3 city tour where they played to at least 180,000 people. If in Chicago they had an audience of 68,000 and in Milwaukee had an audience of 53,000, how many people attended the show in Minneapolis?

Maroon played to at least 180,000 people.

in Chicago they had an audience of 68,000

in Milwaukee had an audience of 53,000

∴ total audience in Chicago + Milwaukee= [ 68,000 + 53,000  ]  =121000 people

∴ people attended the show in Minneapolis =[ 180,000  - 121000 ] =59000

people attended the show in Minneapolis = 59000  ANS
