Credit cards work by adding the debit in the account that is to be paid later. If the credit amount exceeds the limit that could be paid back it may result in bankruptcy and added debt on part of parents. Mary needs to take extra care to ensure the possession of the card and use it as advised because she might not be aware of the consequences, but it could get her parents in big trouble.

When Mary’s parents gave her the authorization to use their credit card, they gave her more valuable and great things than a credit card. Mary's parents gave her trust and respect, they treated her as a reliable daughter, and they made her understand the meaning of how to be responsible.

If Mary doesn't use the card in a responsible way, she will lose such good values .She will be treated as an immature person among her family members too. Moreover, Mary will feel bad and disappointed as she isn't considerate enough in her parent's eyes.

Finally, if Mary doesn't use the card in a responsible way, that means she won't be able to lead her own life dependably and successfully.
